AboutWellingboroughIndiansCricketClub

Established 1968 | Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Our Story

Wellingborough Indians Cricket Club was founded in 1968 by a group of cricket enthusiasts who started playing park cricket at Castle Fields. We became the first Indian team in Kettering & District Town League history, breaking barriers and paving the way for diverse representation in local cricket.

Over the decades, we've grown from those humble beginnings into one of Northamptonshire's most established community cricket clubs, with five competitive adult teams and a thriving youth section.

Today, WICC continues to embody the spirit of inclusive, community-focused cricket that our founders envisioned more than 50 years ago.
