Where is Wellingborough Indians Cricket Club based?

We are based at The Memorial Sports Ground, Sywell Road, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire NN8 6XY. The ground is shared with other sports clubs and located off the A4500.

When are cricket training sessions?

Senior nets are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8pm at the Memorial Sports Ground during the season. Junior training runs on Fridays from 5:30-7pm. Winter indoor nets run from January to March.

Is there parking at the ground?

Yes, free parking is available at the Memorial Sports Ground. Enter via the main entrance on Sywell Road and follow the access road to the cricket ground car park.

Getting to Our Ground

Our home ground is The Memorial Sports Ground on Sywell Road in Wellingborough. Free parking is available on-site.

By Car

From A45, take the Wellingborough exit. Follow signs for town centre, then Sywell Road. Ground is on the left.

By Train

Wellingborough station is 1.5 miles away. Taxi or 15-20 minute walk via the town centre.

Parking

Free parking available at the ground. Overflow parking on surrounding streets during busy match days.

Directions Within the Sports Ground

Once you arrive at the Old Grammarians (OGs) Memorial Sports Ground, follow these directions to find our cricket ground:

1Enter through the main gates of the OGs sports ground
2Follow the road round and go all the way down to the bottom
3Take a left turn at the bottom
4Follow the road round - you'll drive over some gravel, passing tennis courts and fields on your left
5Keep going all the way down until you see signs for WICC
6Take a left turn at the signs
7Then take a right and follow the road round to the pavilion

💡 Tip: If you get lost, look for the WICC signs or ask any of the friendly people at the sports ground - everyone knows where to find us!
