ECBDynamosCricket
The next step for young cricketers aged 8-11
What is Dynamos Cricket?
ECB Dynamos Cricket is the next step after All Stars, designed for children aged 8-11 who are ready to develop their cricket skills further. The program introduces countdown cricket - an exciting, fast-paced format where every ball counts.
Dynamos sessions are longer than All Stars and include more structured coaching, skills challenges, and match play. By the end of the eight-week program, participants will have a solid understanding of cricket and be ready to join our junior squads.
At WICC, we're proud to be an official Dynamos Cricket centre. Our experienced coaches create a challenging yet supportive environment where every child can progress.

What is Countdown Cricket?
Countdown cricket is a fast-paced format designed specifically for Dynamos. Each team starts with 200 runs and loses runs for getting out or playing dot balls. The team with the most runs at the end wins!
This format ensures everyone gets involved - there's no waiting around. Every ball matters, creating excitement and helping children understand the strategic elements of cricket while having fun.
