What is All Stars Cricket?
ECB All Stars Cricket is an eight-week introductory program designed specifically for children aged 5-8. Created by the England and Wales Cricket Board, All Stars makes cricket accessible and enjoyable through games, activities, and challenges that develop fundamental skills.
At WICC, we're proud to be an official All Stars Cricket centre, delivering the program every summer at our home ground on Sywell Road. Our trained activators create a welcoming environment where every child can discover the joy of cricket.
What to Expect
Every All Stars session is packed with fun activities designed to develop cricket skills and a love for the game.
Fun-Focused Sessions
Eight weeks of engaging activities designed to develop hand-eye coordination, throwing, catching, and basic batting skills through games and challenges.
Small Group Learning
Low coach-to-child ratios ensure every participant gets individual attention and encouragement.
Inclusive Environment
All abilities welcome. Sessions are adapted to ensure every child can participate and progress at their own pace.
Personal Kit
Every registered child receives an ECB All Stars backpack, personalised shirt, bat, ball, and more to practice at home.
Frequently Asked Questions
What age is All Stars suitable for?
ECB All Stars is designed for children aged 5-8 who are new to cricket or have limited experience. If your child has previous cricket experience, Dynamos (ages 8-11) may be more appropriate.
Do I need to stay during sessions?
Yes, we ask that a parent or guardian remains at the venue for the duration of each session. You are welcome to watch and cheer your child on!
What should my child wear?
Comfortable sports clothing and trainers. Participants will receive their personalised All Stars shirt which they can wear to sessions.
What if it rains?
Sessions will go ahead in light rain. In the event of heavy rain, we will contact registered parents about rescheduling or alternative arrangements.
Can my child progress to Dynamos?
Absolutely! Many All Stars graduates move on to our Dynamos program. We also have an U11 squad for competitive cricket.
After All Stars
When your child completes All Stars, they can continue their cricket journey with us.
