Development squad preparing for senior cricket

Bridge to Senior Cricket

The U13 squad is a crucial development stage where young cricketers begin their transition toward senior cricket. At this age, players develop more advanced techniques and start to understand the tactical nuances of the game.

Training becomes more intensive, with a focus on individual skill development alongside team play. Our coaches work on each player's strengths while addressing areas for improvement.

Competition in the Northamptonshire Youth Cricket League provides valuable match experience against quality opposition, preparing players for the step up to U15 and eventually senior cricket.
